The past two days went over quickly for our visual artists members Cheryl, Rebecca, Noelle and Annemarie who participated in the event "Il-Kotra" which is a platform for local conemporary bands who play music specially designed to promote the maltese language such as Kapitlu 13 and Marmalja, and local literature writers such as Mark Camilleri and Lara Calleja.
The event brought over two hundred and fifty enthusiasts of the maltese langugage and served as a good starting point for the four visual artists. The event attracted both a young and a middle aged crowd who both were very happy with the outcome of the event, and showed great interest in both performing, literature and visual arts.
Special Thanks goes to Rejects community who were the mastermind behind this event, and to Razzett l-ahmar who offered us the space to exhibit.
