Do you enjoy games like Monopoly, Muffin Time and Carcassonne?

Outdoor Artists the arts and culture non-profit organization is organizing a series of Tabletop Game Activities called “Games Without Borders” with the aim of creating an alternative, social, educational and inclusive environment using “open spaces” as venues.

In addition to fostering a fun social space, the selection of classical and contemporary tabletop games will be offering opportunities to develop team-building, logic, creativity and time management skills. Participants are also given the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurship capacity and public speaking. The ability to continuously learn and appreciate new perspectives is also central to the project.

Outdoor Artists will be partnering with different venues and provide all the gaming equipment for participants to make use of in an all-inclusive environment. Volunteers will also be present to introduce interested participants to the tabletop games in a relaxed and friendly manner.

While a series of events over a span of ten months is currently being planned, the organization is also open to alternatives, and will consider proposals from any interested entities who wish to hold tabletop sessions for employees or beneficiaries.

This initiative is possible thanks to the volunteers and the funds awarded by the Malta Council of the Voluntary Sector through the Small Initiatives Scheme.
